Thank you for your interest in employment with the Commonwealth Ombudsman. This section includes information on current vacancies, working conditions and general information related to applying for a position within the Office of the Commonwealth Ombudsman.
All vacant positions in the Commonwealth Ombudsman's office will be advertised on our website and in the Australian Public Service Gazette. In addition, some jobs may be advertised in local or national newspapers as appropriate to the position.

Temporary/non-ongoing employment register
We are seeking quality resumes to add to our employment register to fill temporary and non-ongoing positions as they arise within our organisation.
We have offices in Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Darwin so please advise which location you would prefer for short term employment.
We will continue to revise our register and will inform you if a position suited to your skills and qualifications arises.
