Building Industry Taskforce report
A Building Industry Taskforce was established within the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations in response to the findings of the first report of the Cole Royal Commission into unlawful or inappropriate workplace practice or conduct in the building and construction industry. The Taskforce commenced in October 2002 and ceased to operate after 30 September 2005. The Commonwealth Ombudsman reviewed the use of compliance powers by the Taskforce and published a report on his findings. [top]
